ALS A&E Certificate of Rating - How it is computed?

By now, whether PASS or FAIL, many test takers in the November 2017 Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation & Equivalency test have received their Certificate of Rating or COR.

Aside from the details of the test takers, the COR enumerated\s the Strands , the Standard Score (SS) and the Percentage of Correct Response (PCR).

The final score is calculated as follows:

1. Communication Skills -  PCR - 75 x 40% = 30.00
2. Critical Thinking & Problem Solving - PCR - 74 x 20% = 14.80
3. Sustainable Use of Resources & Productivity - PCR - 92 x 20% =18.40
4. Development of Self and Sense of Community - PCR - 100 x 12.80% = 12.80
5. Expanding One's Vision - PCR - 83.33 x 7.20% = 6.00
