JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL 



 GENERAL DIRECTIONS 

 The Functional Literacy Test consists mostly of Multiple Choice items.  For each item select your answer from the options given.  On your answer sheet, encircle the letter of your chosen answer.  For example, if your answer to an item is option C, then encircle letter C as shown below.  

Make sure you are marking the answer columns corresponding to the item number you are on.  Mark only one answer for each item.  If you want to change the answer, erase the first answer completely.  Items with multiple answers are considered wrong.

For some items in LS1 English and LS1 Filipino you will be required to write your answers with a phrase, sentences, or paragraphs on the corresponding numbers on the answer sheet. 

 Do not write anything on the test booklet. 

 Follow carefully the specific directions for each test part, from LS1 to LS6.  Make sure that you use the answer sheet corresponding to the test part.  When you finish a part, go on to the next, until you finish the whole test.  The time allowed for the whole test is 1-1/2 hours.  If you finish ahead of time, review your answers.  Then turn your booklet face down and wait for further instructions.
