Nagpalabas ng mahalagang anunsyo ang Bureau of Education Assessemnt (BEA) para sa mga ALS learners ng Batch 2019-2020 at mga nauna pang batches hinggil sa pagkakaantala ng pagbibigay ng Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation & Equivalency (A&E) Test. Batay sa abisong ito, ang gagawing batayan upang pagkalooban ng diploma o katunayan ang isang ALS completers ay ang resulta ng kanilang Portofolio. Para sa mga naka-enroll pansamantala sa mga formal school, maliban sa Portfolio, gagamitin ding batayan sa assessment ay ang kanilang naging marka sa First & Second Grading Period. Ito ay may katumas na 50% ng kanilang Final Grade.

Isang magandang balita ang nais ipaabot nina G. Diosdado M. San Antonio, DepED Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction, at Ms. G.H.S. Ambat, Assistant Secretary for Alternative Learning System, sa mga ALS Learners ng Batch 2019-2020 at mga nakaraang batch, na naghihintay ng ALS A&E Test. Sa isang Joint Memorandum No. DM-OUCI-2021-049 na nilagdaan ng dalawa noong February 24, 2021, na dahil sa imposible nang maganap ang computer-based Accreditation & Equivalency Test o CB-A&E Test na dapat sanang gawin sa April 2021, isa sa magiging basehan upang mapagkalooban ng diploma o katunayan ang mga elementary at junior high school ALS learners ay ang kanilang portfolio.
Paano ito gagawin?
A. Para sa mga pansamantalang naka-enroll sa Grade 7 at Grade 11
1. Ang initial assessment ng mga Portfolio ay gagawin ng mga ALS teachers.
2. Muling isasalang sa pinal na evaluation ng Education Program Specialist II (EPS II) ang nai-submit na portfolio kung saan bibigyan ito ng marka.
3. Isang revalida ang gagawin ng formal teacher kung saan naka-enroll ang ALS learner. Ang resulta ng revalida ay hindi makapagbabago sa marka ng Portfolio.
4. Kukunin ang Average ng First at Second Grading Period ng mag-aaral.
4. Upang mapagkalooban ng diploma o katunayan para sa elementary o junior high school, ang dapat na makuhang Final Grade ay 75% pataas.
Halimbawa:
A. Average Quarter Grade (AQG)
First Quarter Grade (Q1) = 81
Second Quarter Grade (Q2) = 83
Average Quarter Grade (AQG) = (Q1 + Q2)/2 = (81 + 83)/2 = 82
B. Learner's Portfolio Assessment Value (LPA)
Portfolio Assessment Obtained Score (P1) = 29
Portfolio Assessment Obtgained Total Score (P2)= 38
Learner's Portfolio Assessment Value (LPA) = (P1/P2) x 100 = 29/38 x 100 = 0.76 x 100 = 76
C. Final Grade (FG)
FG = (LPA + AQG) x 50% = (76 + 82) x 50% = (76 + 82) x 0.50 = 79
Kapag 75 pataas ang nakuha ng isang provisionally enrolled na ALS learners, siya ay pagkakalooban ng diploma o katunayan base sa level na kayang pinasa. Ang kanyang pangalan ay ilalagay na sa masterlist ng mga permanent enrolled na mag-aaral at makapagpapatuloy na siya sa Grade o Grade 11 hanggang matapos niya ito.
Matatanggap ang diploma hanggang katapusan ng June 2021.
B. Para sa mga hindi naka-temporary enrolled ngayong taon (SY 2020-2021)
1. Gagawin ang initial assessment ng Portfolio ng ALS teacher.
2. Muli itong isasalang para sa pinal na evaluation ng EPS II kung saan lalagyan ito ng marka..
3. Isang revalida ang isasagawa ng EPS II para sa mga mag-aaral na nakakuha ng 28 points pataas sa kanilang Portfolio. Ang resulta ng revalida ay hindi makapagbabago sa marka ng Portfolio.
4. Ang mga mag-aaral na may marka na 28 pataas sa kanilang Portfolio ay magiging ALS completers at pagkakalooban ng diploma o katunayan. Sila ay maaari nang mag-enroll sa Grade 7 o Grade 11 sa susunod na pasukan, 2021-2022.
Ano ba ang revalida?
Ang revalida ay kapapalooban ng mga tanong na sasagutin ng isang mag-aaral tnngkol sa Portfolio na kanyang ginawa o isinumite.

Sample ALS Diploma:
Kung "OO" ang sagot mo sa aking tanong, ngayon pa lamang ay dapat mo nang alamin ang mga kaalaman na dapat mong pag-aralan at unawain. Magbasa tungkol sa mga araling ito at mag-praktis nang mag-praktis kung paano sagutan ang mga tanong tungkol dito. Batay sa mga naunang pagsusulit sa A&E, 25 items lang ang nakaatang sa Math. Kakaunti lang ang bilang subali't malaki ang porsyento nito sa kabuuang pagsusulit kaya dapat ay marami kang tamang sagot.

1) Solve problems involving multiple steps using 4 fundamental operations.
2) Demonstrate understanding of the order of operations of the 4 fundamental operations to solve 3 or 4 steps problem applying the principle of MDAS.
3) Give sample formulas or equations in words; express them in whole numbers, and use mathematical symbols to solve simple problems in real life.

Nawala ba ang iyong Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation & Equivalency (A&E) Certificate of Rating or COR? Nabasa? Inanod ng baha? Natabunan ng lupa? Nasunog? Naiwala ng iyong guro o paaralang pinasukan? Kung isa sa mga nabanggit ang iyong dahilan upang makakuha muli ng kopya ng iyong COR, hindi ka namali nang bisitahin ang blog ko.
Maliban sa pagpunta sa Department of Education (DepED) headquarter sa Taguig City o mag-request mismo sa iyong School Division Office (SDO), maaari nang makakuha ng kopya ng iyong COR sa pamamagitan ng online. Mangyaring sundin lamang ang mga sumusunod na hakbang:
1. I-download ang COR Request form dito - COR Request Form
2. Sagutan at kumpletuhin ang dokumento.
Para mapabilis ang pagpapatunay ng resulta, dapat ay kumpleto ang mga impormasyong hinihingi.
3. I-upload ang COR Request Form at iba pang kinakailangang dokumento (kung meron) dito - BEACORVerify, o kaya ay muling sagutan ang mga tanong. Kailangan ay may email address ka dahil kailangan ito.
4. Hintayin ang email ng Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) dalawang linggo (o higit pa) matapos makapag-file.
5. Kapag masyadong naantala ang resulta ng iyong hinihingi COR, mag-email muli sa verification.bea@deped.gov.ph. Maaari rin silang tawagan sa mga teleponong:

Ang Verification/COR Request Form ay maaari ring gamitin sa mga sumusunod na pagsusulit:
1. Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT)
2. National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE)
3. Qualifying Examination in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies (QEALIS)
4. Educational Management Test (EMT)
Yamot na ang karamihan sa mga mag-aaral at guro ng Alternative Learning System o ALS dahil sa patuloy na pagpapaliban ng Department of Education (DepED) sa nakatakdang Accreditation & Equivalency (A&E) na ibinibigay taun-taon ng kagawaran sa pamamagitan ng Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA). Matatandaan na dapat ay noon pang November 2019 ang pagsusulit sa A&E para sa Batch 2019 at mga mag-aaral na hindi nakapasa sa naunang mga pagsusulit.
Dahil sa pandemya ay inabisuhan ng DepED ang mga mag-aaral ng Batch 2019 na pansamantalang mag-enrol sa Grade 7 o Grade 11, matapos makumpleto ang kanilang portfolio. Ang mga nagpatala ay sasalang sa A&E Readiness Test. Ang papasa rito ay maaari nang magpatuloy ng kanilang pag-aaral sa gradong kanilang pinasukan. Ang mga hindi papasa ay muling tatanggapin sa ALS upang hasain pa ang kanilang kaalaman. Ang AERT ay nakatakda sanang ganapin noong December 202 subali't ito ay nagpapalit-palit din ng takdang petsa hanggang ianunsyo na ng kagawaran na wala nang magaganap pang AERT at sa halip ay ang regular ng A&E test ang gagawin. Inaasahan ng mga mag-aaral at guro ng ALS na gaganapin ito sa April 2021. Sa kasamaang palad, ang nakatakdang A&E test ay tuluyan nang isinantabi ng DepEd at wala nang itinakdang petsa para rito.
Sa ngayon ay naguguluhan ang mga mag-aaral at guro ng ALS dahil walang kasiguruhan ang kanilang pag-aaral at pagtuturo. Higit ang pangamba ng mga mag-aaral na nag-enrol sa Grade 7 at Grade 11 dahil hindi nila alam kung ipagpapatuloy pa ba nila ang kanilang pag-aaral dahil hindi nila alam kung anong assessment ang gagawin ng DepED para sa kanila. Tuluyan bang masasayang ang kanilang oras at salaping iginugol?
Hindi sana mangyayari ito kung may tamang plano ang DepED para sa ALS learners. Batid nila na regular ang pagbibigay ng A&E test, bakit hindi ito naibigay noong 2019 ganoong marami naman ang nag-enrol at nakatakdang kumuha ng pagsusulit? Hindi naman masasabing walang budget ang ahensiya dahil lagi naman nilang isinasali sa kanilang budget ang programa. Bakit kung kailan gagawin na ang test ay saka sila magpapa-bidding kung sino ang mangangasiwa at magtse-chek ng mga papel? Hindi ba ito magagawa ng mas maaga gayong normal at regular naman ang implementasyon ng ALS at A&E?
Ligtas sa batikos ang DepED para sa 2020 dahil nga sa pandemya dulot ng Covid-19 pero dapat ay may ginawa na silang polisiya para sa mag-aaral ng ALS kung paano sila i-a-assess tulad ng ginawa nila para sa mga mag-aaral ng formal school. Lumalabas tuloy na second-class learners lang ang mga nag-a-ALS.
Sa pagsasabatas ng Republic Act No. 11510 o ang Alternative Learning System Act, inaasahan na lubos na mabibigyang pansin ang mga kabataan at may idad na nahinto sa pag-aaral sa iba't ibang dahilan. Sa pagbuo ng Bureau of Alternative Education (BAE), sana ay wala ngang Pilipino ang maiiwan. Ngayon pa lang ay hinihiling na ng mga mag-aaral ng ALS na nasa formal school na sila ay ipasa katulad ng mga regular students kung nakukumpleto naman nila ang mga kailangan sa pag-aaral. At yaong mga Batch 2020 learners, siguro ay sapat na ring batayan ang pagkukumpleto ng kani-kanilang portfolio upang makakuha ng diploma o katunayan ng pagtatapos sa elementarya o sekundarya man. Nawa ay makarating ito sa DepED.

Instructions on Cooking Pork Menudo
1. Combine
pork, soy sauce, and lemon in a bowl. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
2. Heat
oil in a pan
