"Ang Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test ngayong Nobyembre ay maaari mong kunin kung nagtapos ka ng ALS Program, at hindi pa nakakuha o kaya’y hindi pumasa sa nakaraang A&E Test. 

Maaari rin itong kunin ng mga adult taker na hindi nakapagtapos ng pag-aaral at mga kabataang hindi nakapag-enroll sa pormal na paaralan upang mabigyan sila ng Certification of Learning.

"Upang makapagpa-rehistro sa Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test, narito ang tatlong bagay na kailangan mong dalhin sa mga registration center:

(a) orihinal at kopya ng birth certificate mula sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) o anumang legal na dokumento na may larawan, lagda, at pirma ng magpapa-rehistro; 
(b) dalawang kopya ng 1x1 ID picture na may puting background at name tag; at 
(c) orihinal at kopya ng Certification of ALS Program Completion, kung ikaw ay mag-aaral ng ALS.

Tandaan na libre o walang dapat bayaran sa pagpapa-rehistro at pagkuha ng A&E Test.

2016-2017 ALS A&E - Test will be in English & Filipino

I emailed the Education Assessment Division of the Department of Education (DepEd) regarding the conduct of the Accreditation & Equivalency test on 19 & 26 November 2017 and they told me that Learning Strand 1 - Communication Skills (English) and Learning Strand II - Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking will be written in English. All the other Learning Strands - III to V will be written in Filipino.



Below is the full text of the email:

"Aside from English communication skills, Numeracy and Scientific Thinking are written in the English language. Filipino and LS-III to V are written in Filipino."

These learning strands of ALS are:
  • I -Communication Skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
  • II - Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking (numeracy and scientific thinking)
  • III - Sustainable use of Resources/Productivity (ability to earn a living through self-employment, outside employment, entrepreneurship, sustainable use of resources and appropriate technology and productivity)
  • IV - Development of Self and a Sense of Community (self-development, a sense of personal and national history and identity, cultural pride and recognition and understanding of civil and political rights)
  • V - Expanding One’s World Vision (knowledge, respect and appreciation for diversity, peace and non-violent resolution of conflict, and global awareness and solidarity)
