As per DepEd Memo No. 053, s. 2026 dated September 9. 2026, the Regular Philippine Educational Placement Test or PEPT will be held in November 2026 in School Division Offices (SDOs) throughout the country.
Here are the target registrants and requirements for the PEPT based on the document:
Target Registrants
- Learners
from schools without a government permit
- Learners
from nonformal and informal education programs
- Learners
who have incomplete or no records of formal schooling
- Learners
with back subjects
- Learners
who need a grade-level standards assessment
- Learners
who are overage for their grade levels

Requirements
A. For New PEPT Registrants
- Birth
Certificate: Original and one (1) photocopy, duly authenticated
and issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) or the Local Civil
Registrar.
- Permanent
School Record: Certified true copy of permanent school record
(e.g., SF10/Form 137) with a dry seal, signed by the school principal,
registrar, or school administrator.
- Proof
of Schooling: Certificate of attendance in intervention programs
or any proof of schooling (if applicable).
- ID
Pictures: Two (2) identical and recently taken (1x1) color ID
pictures with name tags and a white background.
- Registration
Form: One (1) copy of the accomplished PEPT Registration Form.
B. For Retakers and PEPT Passers
- Certificate
of Rating: Original and one (1) photocopy of the PEPT Certificate
of Rating.
- ID
Pictures: Two (2) identical and recently taken (1x1) ID pictures
with name tags and a white background.
- Registration
Form: One (1) copy of the accomplished PEPT Registration Form.
