ALS A & E 2013 Test Results

After the examinations this year, test takers of the recently concluded Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation and Equivalency are now hoping to see their names in the 2013 ALS A&E list of passers in the Elementary and High School category. Unfortunately, unlike PRC's professional examinations results which are released within days, ALS A&E 2013 results will be released in March or April 2014 like the previous years. This scenario puts a lot of tension and hopelessness for the test takers.

ALS A&E 2013 Test in October 2013

The Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) examinations will be held on Sundays in October 2013.

Below is the schedule of the test:

1. Region 9, 10, 11, 12, CARAGA at ARMM     -   October 6, 2013

2. Region 5, 6, 7 & 8    - October 13, 2013

3. Region 1, 2, 3 & CAR – October 20, 2013

4. Region 4-A, 4-B & NCR – October 27, 2013

All interested applicants are to produce the following registration requirements:

1. Two (2) recent passport-size photo with name tag.

2. Birth certificate (original and photocopy)

3. Original & photocopies of ANY of the following government-issued IDs:

            a.  driving license

            b.  passport

            c. SSS/GSIS ID

            d. postal ID

            e. NBI clearance

To register, follow these steps:

1. Go to the designated Registration and Testing Center (RTC) and look for the Test Registration Officer (TRO).

2. Present requirements for registration

3. Fill-out the registration form independently

4.  If qualified for the test, based on the evaluation made by the TRO, claim the lower portion of the registration form to serve as a test permit on the testing day.

On the day of the examination, please bring the following:

·         lower portion of registration form as test permit

·         mongol pencil #2

·         valid ID

The examination is composed of the following:

A. Regular A&E

1. Elementary Level

            a. Essay – 30 minutes

            b. Multiple Choice – 3 hours

2. Secondary Level

            a. Essay – 30 minutes

            B. Multiple Choice – 3 hours and 45 minutes

B. A & E for Visually Impaired

1. Elementary Level

            a. Essay – 30 minutes

            b. Multiple Choice – 7 hours and 15 minutes

2. Secondary Level

            a. Essay – 30 minutes

            B. Multiple Choice – 9 hours and 15 minutes

Why Students Fail the 2012 ALS A&E Exams

Many of those who attended the formal and informal classes for the 2012 Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) regularly and took the examinations in November and December 2012 are wondering why they failed the test.

One of the main reasons why students fail in the ALS is over-confidence. Some thought that the exam was simple and easy. It is only multiple choice and yet many chose the wrong answer.

Another reason is that they failed in the essay part. It is always a reminder that if students failed in the essay part although they passed the multiple choice, the grade will be fail. One advice is to practice writing essays, learn the components and structure of a good essay and read essays, whether in English or Filipino.

Many students did not understand the question that's why they chose the incorrect answer. It is important that students in the ALS should learn the English language since most questions are in English. In this regard, teachers must devote more time teaching English because if students do not understand the language, they will surely fail the test.

Tama un hindi dapat tayo nanghu2sga ng hindi natin lubos na kilala. Sa totoo lang simula ng araw ng March lagi kong iniisip kung keylan lalabas ang results. Dahil dito nakasalalay ang kinabukasan ko,at sa atin lahat.Be patient guys lalabas din ang results. May kasabihan na "Divine Timing" Kapag lalo natin minamadali lalong tumatagal. Marami naman taung magagawa habang naghihintay para hindi tayo naiinip. Naniniwala ako sa Karma,na kung ano ang ginawa natin sa iba maganda man ito o mabuti. Siguradong babalik din ito sa atin. Nobody's perfect tao lang tayo na nagkakamali. Malakas ang paniwala ko na lahat tayo ay papasa.Goodluck!

Sa ugali mong ganyan, baka magdusa ka sa resulta na hinihintay-hintay mo. Di ka ang Panginoong Diyos para maghusga ng resulta sa mga kapwang examinees. Talaga bang mali-mali ang English grammar ng Alex na kinakausap mo? Nakita ko ang kanyang pananalita, mukhang wala namang problema sa grammar nya. At sinabihan mo pa na good ang English niya. Ano ka ba, nanghuhusga o ano? Sa totoo lang, tama ang English ni Alex. Magpasalamat ka nga na nagbigay sya ng impormasyon sa inyong lahat, isa syang tao na gustong tumulong sa mga kapwang kumuha ng test, at sa kasamaang palad, isa ka sa mga taong tinutulungan nya dahil kumuha ka ng test hindi ba? Kasamaang palad? Bakit di ko sasabihin na kasamaang palad, eh nanghuhusga ka ng taong tumutulong tapos sasabihin mo na di papasa yung Alex. Lahat naman ng objective ng mga kumuha ng exam ay makapasa hindi ba? Wala kaming pakealam kung kailangan mo ng pera o kaya't pinapaaral ka ng anak mo. Ilagay mo sa lugar ang panghuhusga mo. Kung pera ang hinahanap mo, maghanap ka ng blog site na tungkol sa pera. Ibibigay naman sayo ng Diyos ang iyong hinihingi kung, nasa lugar ang iyong panguugali. Siyangapala, itong blog na ito ay di tungkol sa pera, kaundi sa edukasyon ng bawat mamayang Pilipino na di nakapagtapos. Magingat-ingat ka sa pananalita mo, baka ikaw ang di pumasa at di lang ikaw ang sabik na sabik sa resulta ng ALS exam. Di ako kumuha ng exam, anak ko kumuha dahil sa edukasyon at dahil sa gusto nyang makatulong sa trabaho. Ikaw kaya, kapag sinabihan ka na babagsak ka, na ang hina nanan ng utak mo, na ang bastos mong tao, sa tingin mo ba magugustuhan mo yon? Natural, di magandang marinig na ikaw ang hinuhusgahan samantalang di ka nila kilala ng mabuti. Kaya ikaw, payo ko lang dahil pareho tayong magulang, dapat ilagay mo sa lugar yang pananalita mo okay at baka kung ipagpapatuloy mo yang pananalita mo, eh baka sayo bumalik yang mga pananalita mo sa mga hinuhusgahan mo tulad ni Alex. Ikaw, may naitulong ka bang impormasyon sa mga tao dito sa blog site na ito? Wala, nanginsulto ka pa ng taong may nanalaman sa resulta ng exam. O, idadagdag ko lang sa lahat ng makakabasa nito, sa may-ari ng blog site at lalo na kay Alex na hinusgahan nitong si Neo. Pagpasensyahan nyo nalang itong tao na ito, nagmamadali kasi at mapaghusga. Baka lahat kayo hinuhusgahan nya, eh kung ganun, sa mga paladasal dyan na examinees, ipagdasal nalang din natin itong tao na na ito na sya sin ay makapasa at makahanap ng katahimikan sa puso. Release of 2012 ALS A&E Results in March 2013

Many of the examinees of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation & Equivalency (A&E) held in November and December 2012 are hopeful that the results shall be released by the Department of Education (DepEd) in March 2013. In fact, one test taker posted that the 2012 ALS A&E shall be released on March 13, 2013 according to his mentor. However, no confirmation for this date is issued by DepEd.

The agony and frustration of the ALS A&E examinees can be understood because of the fact that college entrance tests and registrations are already going on and they do not know whether to take the test and register or not.

“According to my teacher who was with us as we students take the test, before we took the exams, he told us the exact date of the results of the test, and the exact date was March 13, 2013, according to him, the teacher. He also told us to check depED's website for the results. Oddly enough I forgot his name. This news is for the students who are from NCR region however as I am from the NCR region. Hopefully, I just hope all of us will be able to surpass this ALS A&E 2012 test for a brighter outcome in our lives.”

Mga ALSyers Inip na sa Resulta ng Test

Inip na inip na ang mga ALSyers o yaong mga kumuha ng ALS A&E examinations noong November  at December 2012. Paano nga naman ay nalalapit na ang mga college entrance examinations. Hindi nila alam kung kukuha ba sila ng pagsusulit o hindi.

Ganito rin ang nangyari noong nakaraang test ng October 2011. Inabot ng April 2012 bago inilabas ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang 2011 ALS A&E Test Results. Aabutin din kaya ng lima o anim na buwan ang resulta ng November and December 2012 ALS A&E test results? Sana naman ay hindi. Sana ay natuto na ang DepEd na bilisan ang pagsisiyasat at pagbibigay ng kontrata sa mga bidders na magtsitsek ng mga test papers.

Sa mga kumuha ng exams, tiyaga-tiyaga lang. Huwag mawalan ng pag-asa. Habang nahihintay ng resulta ay magreview sa English at Mathematics dahil kakailanganin ninyo ito kung sakaling pumasa kayo sa 2012 ALS A&E tests at kukuha ng college entrance tests sa iba't ibang college o university.

Nov - Dec 2012 ALS A&E Results

Naiinip na sa resulta ang mga kumuha ng pagsusulit sa Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation and Equivalency exams noong nakaraang November - December 2012. Tulad nang nakaraang taon, tila madedelay na naman ang paglabas ng resulta. Inabot ng limang buwan bago lumabas ang October 2011 ALS A&E noon. Ganito rin kaya sa taong ito?

Habang hinihintay ang resulta, payo ko sa mga kumuha ng pagsusulit na patuloy na mag-review ng Mathematics at English. Ito ay para naman sa kukunin ninyong entrance examinations sa college o university kung sakalaing pumasa kayo sa ALS A&E.
