Batch 2021-2022 Inter-division Revalida Guide Questions with Sample Answers in English and Filipino

1. What were your overall scores in the pre and post-tests in your FLT and its equivalent literacy level?

My overall scores in my pre – and post – tests in my FLT were  30 and 53 and its equivalent literacy level was Junior High School.

2. Describe the process you underwent in preparing your Presentation Portfolio. What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

In preparing my portfolio, the first thing I did was to ask my teacher what formal records should be included there and how many sample works or performance outputs should be included in each learning strand.

After learning the required documents, I filled out and answered these formal records one by one. I made sure they were clean, accurate, and complete.

I collated all my works and projects and arranged them per learning strand. In each learning strand, I selected only those works that best exemplified what I have learned. I made sure to include more than five of my best works to get the highest score.

After my documents and work samples were neatly placed in a folder, I presented it to my teacher for her guidance, advice, and recommendations to further improve my presentation. I followed my teacher's last remarks and resubmitted my portfolio to her.

In preparing my portfolio, I faced some challenges. One of these was the lack of time because I am married and have a child and still working. To get through this, I had to talk to my husband and mother so that they can take on some housework that I couldn't do because of my portfolio.

I also had trouble answering and filling out some formal records because I didn’t fully understand them. What I did was go to my ALS classmate to ask for help. We asked our teacher for the questions we did not understand.

Putting sample works into Digital Literacy was also a big challenge because I
have very little knowledge of it. I watched YouTube where examples of work for Digital Literacy that can be placed in the portfolio were shown. I also asked my friend how to use a computer to create a bio-data or resume and job application letter in Word and how to make a presentation on PowerPoint.

We just need to ask for help from other people and look for sources of information and knowledge so that we can overcome the challenges of making a portfolio.

3. What learning goals were stated in your Individual Learning Agreement (ILA)? Give at least one (1) per Learning Strand. To what extent have you been able to achieve these learning goals?
To answer this question, look at what is written in your Individual Learning Agreement. Choose at least one per Learning Strand and state whether the learning goal was achieved POORLY, SATISFACTORILY, VERY SATISFACTORILY, or OUTSTANDING.

4. Cite at least three (3) best Work Samples across six (6) Learning Strands which you are most proud of. Explain each work sample.

One of my best works is my PowerPoint presentation where I presented the importance and doing a simple budgeting so as not to fall short of spending and have enough savings for unexpected expenses such as sudden illness.

Second is the video clip I made where I showed the proper preparation, organization, and the actual feeding program for malnourished children and students in our barangay.

The third great work I am proud of is the poster showing how to avoid Covid-19 and the importance of vaccination.

5. Cite at least three (3) significant learning you gained from the ALS interventions that you can apply in real-life situations?

Some of the significant learnings I have gained that I can apply in my daily life are as follows:

First, what I learned in creating biodata or resume and job application letter by using a computer and Word software program was very important because I could produce documents in my job search.

Second, I managed my income well and was no longer in debt because of what I had learned about proper savings, spending, and budgeting.

Third, because I learned and realized my self-worth, strengths, and weaknesses I got along well with my neighbors and I learned to respect their beliefs and opinions.

Fourth, I learned my rights and obligations as a human being and as a worker that I can use in my interactions with others and in my work.

Finally, what I have learned from valuing our nature and participating in community activities made me aware to take care of our natural resources and be a responsible member of the community.
